Day 69: Awesome plushies, number one

So since Colombian Rice Eater said he would like to see plushies I've made (I'm sure that has NOTHING to do with the fact he wants me to make him one) I'm posting some of them. Hurrah! So first I'll be posting three different plushies I've made for assorted little children last Christmas. The kids are all the children of various cousins, so they're my... first cousins once removed. Right? Right.

First up! Little doll in a snowsuit for a little girl about, oh, one year old? Give or take. First pic is the front, second pic is the back. Derp.

Obviously I can make more complicated stuff than this, but it's not like a baby needs a whole lot of detail. I made the hair and face with non-toxic fabric paint. Appliques take too long and can be removed by a child chewing on them. Same with buttons. I could have emroidered the face but SWEET JESUS that takes HOURS and when you buy, make, and wrap about 50 presents each Christmas, that's time you just don't have. xD plusI'mreallybadatembroidery Even if the kid DOES somehow manage to eat the doll's face off, it'll be fine because it's non-toxic.
